Leicester Companies Join-up for a Day at the Races CSL Business Machines Ltd and Daly Systems Ltd joined together to invite customers and guests from local businesses to enjoy a day at the Races and to view the latest technology in copiers, printers and telecommunication equipment. The event was held on Monday 20 August in the exclusive Club Room at the Leicester Race Course, where over 100 guests were treated to lunch and some exciting racing; and to mark the occasion the sun actually shone! During the afternoon raffle tickets were sold to raise funds for two local charities that CSL and DSL support, LOROS and The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research, with a total £300 being raised. To add to the fun of the day a ‘Champion Tipster’ competition was held with a trophy being awarded to Jonathan Warren of YMD Boon Ltd for predicting the highest number of winners during the day. Andy Perkins of CSL (right) presenting the CSL have been established for over 38 years providing businesses with copy, print, scan and network solutions and have branches throughout the Midlands. Andy Perkins, Director of CSL said “As the largest independent copier dealer in the Midlands we are very proud of our traditional values with regards to sales and service support and we work very closely with local customers and business partners”. Peter Daly, Managing Director of DSL, Leicester based installer and maintainer of VoIP and traditional business telephone systems said, “It was an excellent afternoon, good fun and an opportunity to speak to customers in an informal setting and of course to help our charities”. Also guests on the day were Claire Richardson and Vicky Wesley the successful bidders for two tickets to the event donated by DSL for the Charity Auction which was held at The Plough, Littlethorpe in aid of the Hope Foundation.
