Pride Alarms

Amongst the charities and organisations whose telephone systems Dalys supplies and maintains, is Victim Support Leicestershire & Rutland.  Victim Support gives support and assistance to victims and witnesses of crime and now encompasses another initiative, Pride Alarms.   Pride Alarms began as the result of a co-ordinated plan by the police, local council and Neighbourhood Watch, to help protect the elderly and vulnerable in the North West Leicestershire area.

Pride Alarms are designed as a deterrent and as a way of summoning assistance should a resident feel under threat whilst in their home; it alerts neighbours and passers by who are then able assist or contact the police.

Dalys involvement began after the Pride Alarms initiative, which had already achieved charitable status, was incorporated into Victim Support Leicestershire & Rutland, and they were seeking a partner to install units throughout Leicestershire and the East Midlands.  Already a trusted supplier to the charity, Dalys was approached to assist with installing the alarm systems at the homes of predominantly elderly people in the area.

Dalys engineers are all CRB checked to enable them to work in areas which may involve vulnerable people, such as schools and nursing homes, giving our customers confidence and peace of mind.  Since Dalys began to assist Victim Support and Pride Alarms three months ago we have completed 18 installs.
