Local businesses race together
20th September 2010 - 12:00am
CSL Business Machines, Daly Systems and Torr Waterfield, along with their respective invited guests greatly enjoyed superb hospitality and a very full race card.
The event was held on Monday 20 September in the Club Room at the Leicester Racecourse, where guests were treated to an excellent lunch and an afternoon of some very exciting racing and even the sun came out to celebrate the occasion!
The highlights of the afternoon included a raffle in aid of LOROS, raising a grand total of £420. This was presented during the afternoon to Tracey Allford, representing LOROS. Matt Moore of Paul John Construction whose skill, or maybe luck, enabled him to predict the greatest number or winners with the best odds, was awarded the 2010 ‘Champion Tipster' trophy.
The Dalys' Business Card Draw was won by Dave Crumbie, Ace (Leicester) who is now the owner of a Plantronics Bluethooth headset, one of the manyadditional products that Dalys supplies to customers.
This is the fourth year that these Leicester based companies have held this joint event, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the occasion, whilst also having the opportunity to network with other local businesses. (CSL provide businesses with copy and print solutions, Torr Waterfield, business and personal accountants Ace Leicester, specilaist structural steelwork.)
