Dalys deliver to Widdowson Group

Daly Systems Ltd, recently announced the completion of a significant project for the Widdowson Group. “The Widdowson project was particularly challenging due to the vast area covered by their site and the cabling distances involved,” Peter Daly said.

The Widdowson Group, based at the recently expanded 30 acre site at Glenfield, had a requirement for a new telephone and data system with the facility to link with their state-of-the-art warehousing and packaging facility situated in Bardon, near Coalville.

Allen Oswin, Widdowson’s Administration Manager stated:

“Due to the growth of the company, our communication system had reached capacity. With the refurbishment of the traffic office, this gave the company the opportunity to upgrade our telephone system.

Daly Systems came along offering a full package with structured cabling and supplying an NEC telephone system. The project manager keeping us informed of each step through the installation, the actual change-over occurred on a weekend, thus keeping interruption to the business down to a minimum.“
